Who is 5th Tillsonburg Alliance?
5th Tillsonburg Alliance is a traditional scouting group sponsored by the Tillsonburg Alliance Church. We are a member of the Baden-Powell Scouting Council of Ontario. As a member of BPSC Ontario, we are also affiliated with the Baden-Powell Scout Association UK (BPSA UK), and the World Federation of Independent Scouting (WFIS).

What programs do the 5th offer?
We offer a full traditional program for all age groups from ages 5 to 7 years (Otters), through 8 to 10 years (Timber Wolves), 11 to 14 years (Explorers), 15 to 17 years (Sr. Explorers), to 18+ years (Rovers). All of our programs are based on Lord Baden Powell’s original traditional programs as set out in his "Scouting for Boys" book.

Does the 5th attend camps?
Yes we believe that camping is a big part of traditional scouting. In addition to our own camp site (Camp Chirp Chirp), we also attend several other camps throughout the year. In addition all of our sections attend the annual Springwater Jamboree as a group along with over 200 other campers from around the province.

What types of activities do you do?
Each age group has a full range of different activities based on the age of the participant. Some examples besides camping are knot tying, hiking, conservation, crafts, orienteering, archery, canoeing, fishing, and games to name only a few.

Who can join?
Registration in the 5th Tillsonburg Alliance program is open to anyone in Tillsonburg and area. Cost is only $70.00 for registration. This cost is made up of $65 for insurance, and $5.00 for registration in the Provincial Association.
